Who We Are
Victoria Turrent, PhD - Managing Director & Financial Planner
Victoria spent the earlier part of her career as a finance consultant to the World Bank and Commonwealth Education Fund, specialising in fragile and conflict-affected situations. She holds a PhD in Development Economics from University College London. An experienced manager of client relations in financial services, she now directs Journey’s business operations.
When not working, Victoria fits in as much time at the theatre and exhibitions as her three young daughters allow.
Marco Turrent, Chartered MCSI - Director & Financial Planner
Marco has over 20 years’ experience in financial services advising investors: from individuals to family offices and institutional asset owners. He holds an MBA in International Finance from the University of Cambridge and BA in Psychology from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
Marco has a thorough understanding of global financial markets having worked in New York, Mexico City and London; and a deep interest in the behavioural psychology of markets. He has lectured on Finance & Financial Markets at Universidad Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) and Derivative Markets as a guest lecturer at the University of London. Marco is an experienced keynote speaker on financial health and wellbeing serving industry associations and corporations (Virgin Money, AMII, BDO).
If not rocking out with his daughters you will find Marco with an espresso in hand trying to steal a moment of peace with The Economist or other good read.
